Abby O'Hare came to talk to second grade about her career in the Air Force for 20 years! It was excellent and the students were so interested in all she had to share.
Please join the Ainsworth FFA Chapter on Monday, November 18th for their annual labor auction. Students are fundraising for leadership workshops, competitions, conventions, and more! The meal starts at 6 pm in the school cafeteria and the auction starts at 7 pm.
Today is the last day of the Scholastic Book Fair in the elementary library. We will be open from 3:30-8:00 tonight. The online fair will remain open until the 24th of November.
On Tuesday, November 5th, 26 students in grades 10-12 attended a group college visit to the University of South Dakota. Our day included a session on preparing for college, a tour of campus, a session on all that USD has to offer, and lunch on campus. This visit was available to our students through the College Access Grant funds.

Hello, ACS Parents. We are always working to practice and improve our safety procedures as a district. One of those procedures is a "lockdown drill". We are currently in a lockdown drill. At this time, the school staff on the Emergency Operations Planning team are joined by local law enforcement, emergency management, and fire and rescue personnel to assist in carrying out the drill. The drill should take less than 20 minutes. There is nothing to fear or to be apprehensive about. We are simply committed to practicing safety protocols so we are ready if the unlikely or unthinkable should happen. If you have any questions, contact the school to discuss them with your child's grade-level Counselor or Principal. Thank you for helping us promote school safety and security.
