Ainsworth Community Schools has learned of the death of Abigail Petty, an 8th grader at Ainsworth Middle School, due to complications from a sudden illness. We extend our heartfelt sympathies to Abby's family and friends. We want to support our students, staff, and community grieving this loss. The commons will be open from 5:00 - 7:00 pm tonight, January 2nd, for anyone wanting to stop by. Staff is also in the building today to provide support as needed.

This is a reminder that the 2nd - 4th grade Christmas Concert is tonight in the Learning Center and starts at 7:00.
There is a change in the school calendar. Students will have NO SCHOOL on Friday, January 26. We are hosting our Girls Wrestling Tournament on that day, with wrestling starting at noon. It will be a teacher workday.
