The Ainsworth High School Quiz Bowl team traveled to Hastings on Wednesday, April
24 th to compete in the ESU state quiz bowl. Thirty teams comprised the bracket for the double elimination competition. Teams are not separated by classes because each ESU sends the top two teams from their competitions. Ainsworth began the day by defeating Nebraska Lutheran. They were defeated in a close match by Southern Valley and were eliminated by Kearney. The top three teams for the day were Elkhorn North, Norris, and Elkhorn South. Ainsworth’s quiz bowl team finished the year with 10 wins and 9 losses. Team members include Cole B, Carlos P, Mason T, Grace G, Emma M, William B, Sam T, Ty B, David C, and Erick H.

Ainsworth Elementary K-4 will be participating in the National Walk at Lunch Day tomorrow afternoon, April 24. Please send your child in comfortable clothing with appropriate footwear that they can walk outside in. Thank you!

Mrs. Arens 2nd grade learned about taking care of our Earth. We listed some great ways to help "Save Our Earth". We found out that Earth Day is April 22, 2024.

The results are in! Congratulations to Ava Graff for earning bronze on her Daycare Deficits project! Addilyn Doke won gold for her Fashion Construction project, earning the title of State Champion, and has a chance to compete at Nationals in July.

On Monday, April 8th, Ainsworth Middle School students Addilyn D and Ava G represented Ainsworth Community Schools at State FCCLA. Addilyn participated in Fashion Construction and presented on the dress she created. Ava’s project focused on the daycare deficits affecting many communities. Both did a phenomenal job and represented our school well. Stay tuned for the results of their presentations!
