On Fridays this first semester, the 5th grade class gets to spend time with high school science teacher, Mrs. Hitchcock. She creates labs or other activities relating to the topics being learned. We have a lot of fun going upstairs to her room and seeing what she has planned for us. We finished up our food web unit by dissecting owl pellets. Below are some pictures of our dissection.
